Celestina Banjo

Celestina Banjo born 2nd December 1987. Celestina began dancing at the age of 5. Her first theatre performance was with the NYMT where she played the part of Tootsie in Tin Pan Ali. At the age of 16 Celestina was offered a scholarship at the Urdang Academy where she trained for 3 years. Celestina graduated in 2007 with a National Diploma in Musical Theatre, however left early as she was offered the role of Hen 1 in Mamma Mia The Movie.

Some of Celestina's work includes T2 music video, Mamma Mia The Movie soundtrack, BBC's Party in the Park, Sky Sports dancer, Moses Jones, BBC HD Ident advert, Coca cola advert, Leona Lewis Emirates Stadium, T4 On The Beach TInchy Stryder, N Dubz & Taio Cruz, Leona Lewis Children In Need, X Factor, Joe McEldery.

Celestina is currently working on various film, television and web projects, and also teaches dance classes in her spare time. She will be featured as lead character Leah in a web series, due to air in March 2010.
