Flies Are Spies From Hell Flies Are Spies From Hell “A complex and at times monstrously beautiful breed of prog-influenced post-rock that is fully capable of tugging at the heart strings as well as the adrenal gland.” Whisperinandhollerin.com. Since 2004 Flies have developed a powerful and immediate form of post-rock - heavy use of piano and crescendos with all the emotional impact of 65 Days of Static or Explosions in the Sky condensed into short explosive songs. They have gigged the UK extensively and toured four times, most recently in support of their album 'Red Eyes Unravelling' - "A stunningly assured debut... the band's compositional elegance and ear for a genuinely affecting melody make this a hugely enjoyable listen." 8/10 Rock Sound magazine. They have gained a reputation for their energetic and often aggressive live shows. The band are currently looking forward to playing the I Am Joy Festival in Chichester which they helped set up in 2007. After that they will be writing and working on releasing new material in the new year. myspace.com/fliesarespiesfromhell Facebook - Flies Are Spies From Hell
